The sad reality, is people hate the current housing system, but it was the one players requested, since they were losing out to people who had 14 hours a day to placard click. The system is the most accessible its ever been. But it seems the accessibility to all is what is frustrating some people since its accessibility reduces their chances of getting a house since more people can partake.
Apts are housing, but not housing people who are willing to settle for the time being? Theyd rather have nothing at all over an apartment. Which doesn't help their case when you need the data to show their is a demand for housing itself, rather then a demand for a large plot/prime plots. There needs to be a demand and not just nitpicking over a specific size or location. Because 3 small FC plots were open for like a month in the Mist with no bids, 2 were purchased by people who specifically made a FC to level up to squat on them and 1 (beachside) was legit purchased.

that's where this thread and i are different , i like the old system , yes i clicked for 15 hours on my days off , and i did it , and when i saw a clicking bot , i reported them , but now you have a lotto system that has 100 people bidding on a house what makes your chance of getting it a 1%, you don't know if they are a player multi-boxing for it, you have to wait a whole week to have another go , not like the old system if you miss out there was a house down the road you could start on. but even if they added 10 or 20 more wards , on a high populated server your chance of getting one would be still be low. with a server that only cover 1/3 of the population and with player that can have a house and a fc on there alts and main for 8 toon per accounts . good luck on a high populated server , your ship has sailed start swimming

No thank you, people with free time and bots using the old clicking system is much worse because people like me who rarely have a day off don't have the same luxury of clicking for 15 hours. At least the lotto gives everyone a chance and bots are useless too, I won my current home through the lotto out of 45 people, so the lotto works.that's where this thread and i are different , i like the old system , yes i clicked for 15 hours on my days off , and i did it , and when i saw a clicking bot , i reported them , but now you have a lotto system that has 100 people bidding on a house what makes your chance of getting it a 1%, you don't know if they are a player multi-boxing for it, you have to wait a whole week to have another go , not like the old system if you miss out there was a house down the road you could start on. but even if they added 10 or 20 more wards , on a high populated server your chance of getting one would be still be low. with a server that only cover 1/3 of the population and with player that can have a house and a fc on there alts and main for 8 toon per accounts . good luck on a high populated server , your ship has sailed start swimming
i think both of them have there pro and cons , i didn't do clicking every day too , i have to work as well . i just didn't have to wait a whole week to find out i lost just to go see the new owner and get my gil back, i just move on to the next house on the same day if there was another. but both way have bot problem , it just with the click bot it was obvious , they would keep clicking after they have won or lost
