There is no real "normal" in a fantasy setting. Especially final fantasy when we have folks like Kefka and Kuja.

They wear cloth based clothing which is pretty normal compared to dresses made up entirely of belts like they got the outfit from a goth store. Kefka and Kuja outfits i feel fit more with a fantasy/medieval setting especially since kefka fits the stereotypical court jester. I feel goth clothing made up entirely of belts to me doesn't fit with fantasy.

Last I checked goth can look goth despite any Era of clothing. Gaia has one belt iirc. Nothing about what she wears looks off.

Also how can you say literally anything doesn't fit fantasy. It's fantasy therefore quite literally anything works lol

I just find gaia outfit to fit more steampunk type but don't know how kefka and kuja doesn't fit the fantasy/medieval type and there outfits are considered more ridiculous. Kefka is literally a court jester but his outfit is seen as ridiculous and not fitting to a fantasy or the times he was suppose to represent.
