Dawntrails doesn’t feel like Final Fantasy

Am I the only one who thinks that, after all the story put the WoL through to the point we'll be at by the end of 6.5, a more lighthearted start to new chapter probably makes some degree of sense?

I mean, yeah, some might have preferred the WoL to visit Meracydia to pick a fight with some furious Kangaroos and whatever Allagan nonsense remains there, but I do like the idea that the WoL would rather do some general 'Adventurer-ing' instead.

I'm not against individualism. I'm very much for individualism (in life that is). What I don't like is everyone and their uncle spamming the forum with their own fan fictions and spins on a topic that has been covered over and over again. That said, if having individualism means we have to deal with more spam on forums, eh, I can live with it, so I'll concede you're right. (did i just agree with r041? scary)

I just kinda hate it when people fantasize about JP, and it's sort of a common thing around here. Even if you didn't mean it. When if they actually grew up there, they'd feel uh.. Quite a bit differently to their Pros and Cons. lol

I do wish our reports actually did something. They clearly don't, because even I report these type of threads.

It doesn't help that it's already being described as a 'vacation'. I doubt there will be any major stakes given that the second coming of the apocalypse resulted in the increasingly smarmy protagonists bragging about walking away with not even a scar to show for it.

There will def be medium to major stakes by the end of the 7.0 patch. I have a feeling it’s going to start lighthearted and end up with us realizing there is something serious, albeit maybe only locally, going on.

People think JP is all anime and moe and good vibes. In reality they have a lot of complex and ugly social issues similar to other countries.
