It all has to start with one person and it will be a domino effect. it WILL effect everyone. Especially, have you seen HOW MANY people on here don't have 5 minutes to do anything in this game? Everyone on this fourm is like "TIME SYNC THIS, TIME SYNC THAT" We are playing an MMO things need to take long time. My point being, is if most of the forum people are like that, they will end up using it.
I'm not going to use it ever, just like I'm boycotting the goobuu(still have not got mine yet)
Soo I have my flag up for a party of whatever, or I see a shout group 4/8, I've been waiting a while soo I take them up on it. They are like, well, lets just get the rest in CF, I am forced to now leave said party. If you say it doesn't effect the whole community, well there ya have it. It just effected me in doing so content. Or I could have a pt going and people leave because I won't use it.

See, it makes the community worse right off the bat(another reason why it shouldn't be implemented!) Everything they are adding is lessening the patients of people. That, myfriend, is not good.
Our biggest concerns for this CF, is, more reason for implementation of instanced areas.

Or you could just group with people you know on the same server who also don't want to use the content finder. Pretty crazy idea I know but it just might work.

I know I'm never going to use it and it won't affect me in any way. I will continue grouping exclusively with my LS and have a good time never experiencing the horrors of random groups, as you would find even on the same server.

Again, the game will never be fully instanced or fully open world. There will be a mix, which is decided by the dev team. If you don't like the way the game is headed, the best plan of action would be to start looking for a game that suits your needs.

Oh yes how you guys forget about the classic FFXI era where whoever had the best bot won everything. You talk about ruining the community how about the time where every LS pretty much hated eachother. People spending $3000 on claim bots. MPK wars at Fafnir, Tiamat, heck even in sky over Despot. People talk trash when they claimed that Fafnir. It wasn't a good server community back then.

So then meet more people on your server. Join linkshells and the like. Content finder will not be the only option ever for meeting new people. You know there's that big open world out there and content for it that will not be accessible via the content finder. I bet you'll meet new people doing things like that. Or you could talk with people in public channels and meet them that way, things like that. There are other solutions. Content finder will not block all forms of communication on all servers except for when in content accessible via the content finder.
