It's a forum for discussion. Someone has posted a theory on, hey, what if Eorzea was reimagined as this. Don't see the issue. For them to "bully" CBU3, I should think they would need to, somehow, become President of Square Enix and then threaten CBU3 with losing their jobs unless they (re)developed FFXIV into this.

and with yet another in a long list of rewrites. thought maybe he had found his manly happiness elsewhere, obviously missed the attention

by themselves, I am sure would make a passable game. as a ARRA (A Realm Reborn Again) it wouldnt fly. basically rewriting 10 years of history is not going to happen. could always write to SE see if they would fund his vision of the next MMO and he could work for them as producer.

No, most players DON'T want that "gritty" angle that you are talking about. You need to accept that your preferences are not going to come back. FF14 players today ENJOY a more laid-back experience.

I want both.
Im not bored of the Laid-Back Experience. I actually LOVE the light-hardheartedness of FFXIV.
But at the same time, we could use abit more Dark Grit. Im not Fanboy of HW....Im honestly a ShB Simp...but Ill still recognize that HW was pretty great and we could use a little more of that. Mix that in with ShB and we'd truely have a great tale that isnt TOO dark, but isnt Happy-Go-Lucky to the Max.

I just like that I can laugh at teh idea that he will Never leave, despite how much he's talked about it!
And also, I am Genuinely Happy to hear that he really does love FFXVI this much to try and make another Overblown Fan Rewrite of FFXIV, and use FFXVI elements.

Plus hes probably the only person here on the Forums that probably Actually loved the game. In contrast to the many who will say its bad, or Mid.
Jus p roving that there is always that ONE guy that something caters to. No Hate, Im happy for the Guy.
All I wanted was for him to be happy and do/play something that makes him happy, contrary to the people here who think I had any ill will or motivation to the guy.

But maybe it just means FFXIV really is that great of a game. To the point we are still talking about: Often Outlandish ways, to improve the game:3
