Watched the phase transition and the boss phase 2 for The Final Day just die before everyone gets to say their lines. The music didn't get to the good part. We reached 20% by phase transition and that's with multiple deaths in the party. The phase transition didn't even feel like one. We killed it before they threw out more than 1 meteor because it aligned with raid buff time...

RIP sprout player experience. Ilvl sync really needs to get checked. This is beyond ridiculous at this point.

At least they didn't use you to pull a tankbuster into the party.

Wasn't MT so wasn't an issue, but I have had that done and it sucked. It's a long time since but I'm pretty sure I posted about it here since I was vote kicked for it. People didn't understand that the healer did it through rescue. I was both livid and put off from tanking araids for a while.

I'm really surprised SE hasn't said anything about this. Gear inflation is out of control, and the content is just too undertuned. It really ruins the experience.

Do you know for sure that they're an actual forumer or are you assuming because of the attitude? Just asking because there are actual non-forumers out there like this unfortunately and I know you tend to be a bit in too deep with some of the forum drama.

Gonna agree with this. Not every terrible person is from the forums. However we do have a nice collection of them.

That said I just wish the blacklist erased them from the world...and in turn I get erased from theirs.

Kinda like that Black Mirror episode but instead of them being static...they just didn't exist.

People sock puppet the wow forums all the time so seeing it go on over here when I already have negative tolerance for it is what does it in for me. I'm very recent to posting to these forums. In fact, I'm very sure a good percentage here post there as well.

I do follow the rules, the post cited in the email distributed was fully valid and non-rule breaking. A particular forum troll multiboxes the forums to mess with the moderation team with mass false report abuse. Multiple people were all actioned at a weird time and it looks like a mod fell behind on workload and fast clicked through reports. I've now seen the bad actor instigating this get permabanned for abuse of forums and severe trolling 3 times between August and October of this year.

Using strong language to tell people to knock it off™ is not welcome here as evidenced by such. It doesn't matter who is in the right or wrong. Looks like someone gets dragged out from customer support once a week to fast click through posts without reading into context.

It may or may not be whoever you're thinking of then. There are legitimately awful human beings in this game who don't exist on these forums but act a bit like the person you're showing in the screenshot.

You're not entirely wrong that the forums have a lot of alts and people fishing for reactions. You just have to do your best not to let it get to you, and not to end up jumping at shadows.

Listen to this. There's a subreddit called R/FFXIVDiscussion that is actually quite similar to these forums but unlike the forums the mods there let everything go completely(they still post, they just let the drama unfold for activity purposes). As a result, a couple of people have been semi-doxed because they were suspected of certain regular troll there on an alt account. You don't want to end up being as bad as those people.

Also, for that person I would report for harassment or something if you haven't already.
