It was a Nier raid. And all 3 of the first bosses from each of those raids has AOES that in no way could another player move to a precise safe location before even the visual or audio alerts are given by 5+ seconds.
Again believe me or not...it does not matter. The general player base knows these addons exist and to pretend otherwise is kinda lol.

I am so super confused. Like, they are talking about AoEs.... Does he mean the central or side AOEs, from the 1st boss in Copied Factory? The one that, if you watch the cast bar, tells you whether it is centrifugal or sidestriking? You know, central being central and side being side?? no, there is no telegraph... other than the cast bar???

Given that he's been deliberately avoiding naming the specific raid or boss, I would just ignore it. The entire story reeks of "someone played better than me so they must be a cheater".

I am hoping, somehow, he is sitting at his desk thinking "wait..... the boss has a cast bar???? and that's how you identify mechanics with no telegraphs???".... but you are probably right.

Lol, and apparently anyone not buying his story is now a cheater as well. Despite the fact I've had nothing but a clean install of this game since the beta's before 1.0 even released... Apparently visual prowess and memorization are now 3rd party cheat tools
