Since when do players read tooltips? If they did that they would do AoE in dungeons and use tank mitigation and damage buffs.
I didn't mean tooltips anyway. I meant knowing to navigate to the location where they enter the mechs, and actually click them.
In other news, there is no technical debt from 1.0.

All of that information is covered in the guide window that pops up when you unlock the mode, if people skip over that, then there's no helping them.
I totally read all of that stuff. Totally.
Eh whatever, I'm there for the tomestones.
- if stuff under 50, collect 50 stuff
- if mech is available, jump in it and attack towers
- if mech isn't available, support the mechs
I figure that's all I need to understand for this event.
Sounds to me more like a battle high and soaring problem, and that those should be removed. Or alternately made even stronger so the matches can end more quickly. Most people are just there for the exp, series exp, or smashing their face against the wall for as long as it takes to eke out enough wins for the mount achievements. Completely removing all rewards except some end of season titles would work too, since then there would be almost nobody playing except those who actually enjoy pvp.
RW takes very little time as it is so promoting a "let's just get this over with" for those people who are not really interested in being there gets a "no" from me. RW matches run outside events and require little effort to join for those people who want to get a short queue, just as it's possible to complete PVE (e.g. hunt trains, DR) if someone put in that effort .Sounds to me more like a battle high and soaring problem, and that those should be removed. I don't follow your logic on why you would want to remove the small rewards (i.e. achievements) that exist. if that refers to Garo, that's such a long (years most likely) time scale- why remove event, and why penalize PVP players? and what about other PVP achievements- why remove them, makes no sense to me.
You win more shatter games being positive on ice points than battle highs and kills. The new map and the collective small spawns matter much more, this lessens three way battles too. If anything you're just killing intruders most of the time, it's objective PvP which is fine.

I 100% read those when the mode was first introduced however many years ago and i unlocked it. This week was the first time i ever actually qued for a RW style instance. I remember none of what i read. So ive been just trying to support mechs and leaving the piloting of such for people who(hopefully) know better then me.
Your down by 500+ points. What do you do
A) Fight the leading team to increase your points and lower their's. Pressing more buttons than basic attack
B) Stay at base spamming your basic attack to get 50 points while teams widen the gap by more than 50.
Only FF14 players get this wrong

A is the right option but with the players in this game it turns more into, fight the leading team and feed them even more.Your down by 500+ points. What do you do
