If you think top 100 is full of wintrading you probably ain't even t100 material

Very obviously, to anyone who actually got t100, they played the matches and know that wintrading, speedhacking, cheating, boosting are actually rare. What's not rare is the number of alts, there are just too many alts, but wintrading is rare.

So every time I see someone complaining that most people in t100 are wintraders I know they haven't got to that level because they have no first-hand experience of t100 matches. Because if you do you know how rare it is. Capiche ?

A lot of people play alts because they play at 3pm when queues don't pop so they go to a different part of the world. Or they enjoy pushing to Crystal on multiple chars. They should be still allowed to play ranked but just make it so that only their league matters, and they take up no space on the leaderboards, it's simple and suddenly you'll see twice the number of people getting t100

The alt problem is not that simple I guess.

You have a few options,

• either reward the whole account - while only rating the best placed char (server stress)
• reward only your (multiple) characters who make it into top100, but dont make alts visible on the top100 (GM stress)
• leave it as is
• remove top100 and only have tier rewards

SE is not gonna give themselves more work, or overload the server with more unnecessary requests.

They also opted out of an account wide mount system ala WoW apparently, as they sell some mounts per character in mogstation, instead of per account. Again server/coding issues probably, why we dont have it. (Which would have been a solution when top100 was still with real rewards like mounts.)

I am not sure why top100 still exists though, the incentives arent that great, the gameplay a bit too random and laggy, compared to previous iterations. I guess they wanted the tournaments for fanfest, so they had to keep it. But it would make more sense to only have tier rewards at this point.

And it would make more sense to let people duo queue in casual matches already. Feast had it and a group was only 4 people, now we have 5 and they banned it.

I also would let people climb in casual matches up till gold or platinum. They can still go casual matches after that, but they wouldnt get any more ranking upgrades. So even casual matches get a somewhat balanced grp composition.

And ? It's rare. How many t10 players do you hear about that wintrades ? Have you played in any t100 matches against t10 players ? I win and lose against them all the time and there's no anomaly.

because this subforum does nothing but whine about ranked queue and its players existing while continuing to perpetuate the lie that everybody cheats. this behavior is so extreme that a person here created a whole list of hundreds of north american ranked placements across every season and harassed all of them by baselessly accusing everybody on it. the way you guys act is embarrassing.
