    Thancred doesn't give you drama if you wall-to-wall, just grabs all the aggro like it's another day. The trust healers do damage too. So it says a lot when a human snowflake plays worse than say early leveling duty support that doesn't even have job crystals.

    Well this was in ARR. ARR was different to the current game. PLD had no AoE below 50. You had to drop cleric stance to heal. So imagine not even tanks having AoE at that level. And with all the potency buffs, stat buffs and changes, additions of tenacity and DH, trait changes, SE didn't care too much about the effect of this on lower level dungeons because they said as much when they added Strength to tank accessories in Stormblood.

    But 16 minutes was the average for me for as long as I can remember since I started doing expert roulette with w2w pulls, which was in Heavensward (and the current expert dungeon seems even quicker than that in some parties).

    But now if you rush an ARR dungeon it can be ridiculously low. 10 minutes on average, maybe 6 minutes with an amazing party, it can get ridiculous with how the game is now and this is still a big improvement over 20-25 minutes.

    I remember in ARR if you didn’t have a class that could refresh TP and you had a TP heavy AOE job (like say SMN and DRG) it was actually optimal for the healer to cast repose on the mobs and then just single target them one by one rather than have the DRG run out of TP halfway through the pull and then be useless

    Speaking of breaking him. Notice how his new class is white mage? And he's saying the tank can't handle wall to wall? If this guy was my healer, I'd absolutely not do wall to wall. I've seen him post bad takes long enough to know he can't play.
