Evidence that Macros Do NOT Cause GCD Delay or Lost Casts

No, this is what it's all about. This is what will make you drift. This is literally the exact reason why balance advises to not macro GCDs.

At least according to where I looked on Balance, that's not the reason they give. Quoted from the Discord:

And as I've demonstrated, the above is untrue: macroing GCD's does not add up to lost casts over time. All you have to do is press the button within the queue window, instead of outside of it — which is the exact same thing you have to do if you're not using a macro. The queue window for macros is generous, just not as generous as the queue window for non-macros. I would genuinely be surprised if this was a difference maker for most players.

For players who it does make a difference to, that's certainly a valid reason to avoid macros. But it's just not a good reason to say that generally speaking macros should be avoided. For players who don't have an issue with the smaller queue window, macros offer a lot of possibilities for convenience and comfort.

Also...did you look at the evidence I provided demonstrating that macros don't innately cause an issue?
