Honestly this. The amount of farm and reclear parties I have where people don't know wtf they're doing I feel outnumbers the total planet's population. Yes, some are so bad I count them ten thousand or more times. So I know putting those on will keep them out.
this is all dumb.
No, I disagree because in week 1 there ain't many guides to hold your hands.
If people don't want particle effects, just make the mount wear a small medal. People crying "FOMO" when the two mounts are nearly identical anyways ? Hmm ? Shows that they want to be seen as an elite raider without actually clearing week 1, that's the real problem.
You mean the top 100 rewards from Feast ? Actually they should never re-release that. Thank you Yoshi P for standing on the side of prestige.

Here’s a hot take.
I don’t think week 1 clears should be possible. Allowing it to become the accepted norm was a mistake.

I think this would end up having the opposite effect of what you want. Right now the community takes interest in and cheers on the week 1 clear people and celebrates in their successes and recognizes the effort that takes but it's just little enough special reward that they don't feel they have to rush out and do the same. People would be willing to buy clears just for this, and then the mount wouldn't mean much of anything.
this is genuinely a terrible idea.
yeah but if you don't call out stupidity then the people who think its genuine will support it.
its why forced irony/pretending to be stupid for humourous reasons is ultimately self-defeating when over time it attracts an audience of people not bright enough to catch it. :')
