Yes they would. BG3 is both a master piece and the new hot thing. It's pretty visible there is a massive hype for BG3 right now, most of the people I know actually switched from FFXIV fully to BG3, so it should say a lot about the current quality of FFXIV imo, if FFXIV was "as good" as people pretend it to be, people wouldnt leave now would they ?
Genuinely thought you were smarter than this.Imagine unironically acting like people attempting to spend as little time in the game as possible and spending said time gushing over other games isn’t a problem because “but it might be the same if the game was actually good”
Do y’all get paid to defend 14, I’m genuinely curious at this point

Actually they are pretty smart, you just dont get the point, it goes right over your head, when a game is just good as a lot of people on this forum seem to pretend it is, people dont "rush" to go play something else, the point is that people just play this game at this point because they have to do their chores with their static or in PF because they dont want to be behind, and then they move on to other games because they are just more fun and of higher quality.
You also dont play anything remotely challenging in FFXIV, so yeah there's that. The game doesnt need defending. So people play other games? Big deal. I am playing Skyrim, NMS, I just got a copy of an older Soldier of Fortune and I plan to play that soon..FF 14 doesnt need us to log in every single day if we dont want to.
It doesnt mean a damned thing either way. Equating "issues in FF 14" being responsible for people not being in the game is utterly ludicrous.
I also play chess online which I find quite enjoyable...when I am not studying that is.
