I mean, they very clearly used one of the existing child Miqo'te models, judging by how they angled the camera to hide the face in the cutscene. Also you can see how the hair is parted into pigtails if you look closely under the hat.

Dang, I saw your thread title and the spoiler warning, and it got me really excited that there'd be some kind of hidden, major story tease in the event quest. When I was sent to find the letter with a blue chocobo on it, I actually thought "Wait, a blue bird? A BLUE BIRD!!??" I was so psyched, lol. Why did you have to do this to me, OP.

Is the Rising Event active yet? I know the Moogle one is and there is a stage and even the music for Rising but the NPCs keep saying it's "being set up".

Why are you making the request in the first place? Isn't the lore that the children stay with their tribes until they become adults?

You need to get far enough into the quest before the NPCs will tell you anything other than that. Pick up the quest by Sunsilk Tapestries.

Not sure what that is but ill look it up tomorrow now that I know there is a quest starting point.

A few years back there was an x-mas event centered around a children's medical ward by the alchemist's guild in Ul'dah. Had Hyer, Elezen, and Lalafell kids in it. Although the popotos looked like regular ones. Guess the spuds just reach full size at a young age. *shrug*
