housing conundrum: there needs to be a better way.

You can always well...get a apartment, right? So you can dump your housing items you get there.

Unfortunately, you can't dump the yard items in your apartment; those can only go in actual house yards. And they make a lot of those! As someone with a yard and hence 20 slots of "yard storage", I still am overflowing with event yard items! XD

That is why i said Island Sanctuary is a good step in the right direction, even though you can't dump the yard stuff there you can actually use it on your island. I wrote as much up there...
