Eh. They already have mounts shaped like this, so it isn't laziness. This let's the mount be unique by letting the player be the mount.

We already have a golden version of the same exact model. The racial positions and poses already exist. There's no laziness involved, it's a design choice.

Probably supposed to be symbolic, something about how the players helped the game rise from the ashes of 1.0 and it's still going strong or something.

Yeah i know. Sorry for thinking so negative. I guess seeing mog store mounts for high prices because they are account-wide and longer patch cycles have made me quite suspicious

This isn't lazy. The firebird already exists. This is symbolic in multiple ways.
