Solution for dead party finders due to DC travel.

Good for you, some people actually want something a tiny bit more challenging than being afk in roulettes spamming 1-1-1-1-1-1 (or full afk if you're a healer)

I never use PF. I just do the Duty Finder, usually a Roulette…

Roulettes are fine (except perhaps on Dynamis). This problem concerns essentially high-end game duties and it is particularly annoying as when DC traveling you can pretty much just stand idle until the PF fills as you can’t use retainers (so no crafting while waiting unless you brought the mats and it’s potions or food or you’ll fill your inventory ), fc chest, no selling on the MB, no access to FC chat nor to personal/fc houses.

I mean they said they are doing duty finder via roulettes, so what ? I said that some people want to do actual "challenging" content, I'm not sure how that doesnt make sense to you, but hey, you do you, I'm good juice wise though, with that said, I'll take a fanta orange if you have one, a sprite could do too, it's warm out there

This is going to reverse itself when 7.0 drops. You're going to see people going to Dynamis because of the shorter queues. I'm hoping people will stick around after that.

... There should be some sort of incentive or bonus to making/joining a PF on your own DC. What that bonus is I’m not sure...

The bonus of staying on your own server is FC buffs. Meat n Mead or Proper Care are beneficial raid bonuses.
The value of them is so small that they are not an incentive to stay home.

Meat n Mead makes raid food last 10-15 minutes longer, which means only eating two food for a raid lockout instead of three. As most raid food costs about 3k gil, that is not really much value.
Proper Care has the same problem, gear wear is reduced. Fully repaired gear without the bonus will last for at least one full raid lockout. All proper care will do is prevent your gear from getting as low, slightly reducing its repair costs.

Well yes till raid comes out then it's back to aether. Honestly think this is a decision you walk back and just let the community adjust

Cross DC Region Duty Finder is already designed and they know it will work.

What needs to done is have an opt in option like the language settings.

This way, if you do not want to be paired in a group that is not from your region, you won’t.

But, what Im not getting at is how is using DF means less challenging content? I suppose you mean everything else besides EX and Savage but thats debatable.
