um 100% no lol, seasonal events used to have mini dungeons and minigames and what not. now it's just boring cutscenes with ultra cringe characters

i literally dont even remember the npc's name despite doing it just hours ago. it was that forgettable. he wears a mask cos he's shy?? ok??? who cares????

they put in literally negative effort into these events these days, please just give us the reward with mogmail or something

now they even make the interactive cutscene unskippable despite it being utterly pointless

like imagine forcing people to watch wattpad.com/fanfiction.net Girl Pirate x Boy Pirate [1m1f] teenage girl ships, and bringing up old seasonal event npcs that no one even remembers

i swear to god this game is literally turning into teenage fujoshi deviantart/wattpad/fanfiction catering services when it comes to sidequests

you can disagree and think the quests are quirky teehee randum the PENGUIN OF DOOM XD, but if u disagree that it's watered down then u need to check for memory loss

In regards to this event in particular, no that's not a fact. We didn't even have the jump puzzle for years until last year and this one. So it was even more watered down prior to the last 2.

To be honest, I don't really mind the lack of swimsuit via the event, considering the fact that they gave us a new one via Island Sanctuary.

I know. I already said that in my post above. I didn't recall the exact year so I just said "we didn't even have the jump puzzle for years prior to".
If the phrasing is off, my b. English isn't my first language.
What I was saying is the ones we got prior to the last 2 were even more watered down since they didn't include the jump puzzle that was already there before.

Would it matter at all if I was a 'fujoshi' type? (Had to Goggle, fan of yaoi... I will take that as the compliment you obviously meant! Kinda cool to be called rotten haha) people can like more then one type of story, the game should not just stick to one especially for lighter side content. To be fair, this is perhaps the one FFXIV issue I am most likely to agree with you, Stormpeaks etc regarding how I would love to see events fleshed out more and become less tied to the Mogstore… but yall just express it in such silly and condescending ways that all I can do is go-
