Ngl, seems bit entitled to demand what a whole team is working on. We’re getting an expansion soon, isn’t that a clear indication they working on things?

I am sure this thread will generate the same response you got out of them from your 150 posts. I look forward to the next 150. Keep them coming. Not a single soul believes that CBU3 is back to solely working on FF14. They're working on FF16 for PC and FF16 DLCs at the MINIMUM.
What else are you working on, CBU3? What are you not telling us? Are you hiding the fact that you're working on FF17, the next MMO, so that people will continue to have copium for FF14? Because that's what happened to 11.

The plans for the Future should be very obvious okey! listen...
( -- this is obviously a joke pls don't hurt me QuQ; -- )
I mean they will probably bring back Kaiten for 7.0 unironically. And people will rejoice and forget that everything else got further dumbed down.
I pray people see Kaiten as a symbol rather than the only problem.
FF17 is not likely to be soon. There will be DLC most likely for XVI, but DLC doesn't have to take up all of Yoshidas time. They can outsource that somewhat to get it done since its just DLC. Even quality DLC is often guided, but outsourced by a company. Even if its just to another team within the company. My point is, people are being realllllly dumb here and need to wake up to the fact that we know nothing about how it works, just what it MIGHT entail. This is a conspiracy crapshoot of a thread. I dont mean to be harsh, but Ive really had it with this argument. Its all based on rumors that we dont even know to be true or false. Greater clarity on how much of the budget for XIV is being used for XIV would be nice though, and I don't disagree that those questions should be asked. Just don't be surprised if they dodge the question.
Also FF doesn't usually repeat the same director, so just because it will likely happen one day, does not mean it will be creative business unit III.
You know what would make for a really fun game? A Creative Business Unit II FF game for the next installment. Though maybe a combined II and III. Dragon Quest is absolutely on par with quality these days, and the ideas for Bravely Default, Octopath, and their other games are often really fun. It should be considered tbh. II just deserves a little more attention for their successes, because they are absolutely as good as III.

I hope they don't, and instead give SAM a better Kenki button that's not as boring as Shinten and Kaiten. People complain about things getting dumbed down, and yet they beg for a boring button to return just because the current state of SAM is even more boring. How about instead of begging the devs to bring Kaiten back, we ask them to make interesting buttons?
You know for a fact that if the devs bring Kaiten back as it was, that these people will be doing exactly that.

I mean they have been clear on what they’re making for the most part I’m not sure why you think they’re hiding something. FF17 is unlikely to be anytime soon and if anything at a minimum 2027 onwards (going by how long 7 remake or 16 took) pc port requires only a small team to optimise and dlc depends honestly wouldn’t be that much of a team hog. If you go on their website for recruitment they are still hiring for monster design, game designer and UI designers for the MMO department side still like they are still working on 14 easily. Another expansion with the Xbox port as well plus one of their biggest money makers too.
If they openly came out with an excel sheet of their resource limit and where it’s allocated to you’d still believe they have something to hide because you are adamant they’re against you for some reason.
"You're not happy because the devs aren't giving you anything, and you're asking for the devs to give you a little, which means you wouldn't be happy if the devs gave you even more than you asked for."
Backwards logic.
The 'doom patrol' is never seems to be given what they ask for. Thus it's not logically sound to assume that they'd be unhappy if they got it for once. Cool name though. The Doom Patrol. Sounds like an anti-hero team. Sign me up!

given the forums and the doom patrol which you are part of...
the logic is fairly sound.
the reality is, anything in development they are unlikely to talk about until its in a fit state to talk about. nor are they under any obligation to us to talk about other future projects.
complying with unrealistic demands on the english forums is unlikely to be part of the overall business strategy, not matter how much kicking and screaming and threatening to hold your breath there is. (I doubt they would do it even on the Japanese forums but you are always welcome to try there too)
