Galka are very different but may have some overlap with Sea Wolves, and Hyur, like Hume before them, are just vaguely-Germanic keyboardsmash or whatever is appropriate for the current region (i.e. Aht-Urgan). Mithra was definitely a "Hey, I know that name!" experience, though.
The dark force will be occupying me for some time yet, if my poor old laptop doesn't finally give up the ghost and take the whole spreadsheet with it...

Currently sifting through the Al Zahbi NPC list to add that to the Thavnairian information, then will aim to get through the playable races.

From what I'm seeing mixed into this list, Tarutaru are actually pretty similar to Plainsfolk and Galka to Hellsguard.

And don't even tempt me into trying FFXI when I've got far too many alts here already.

Ah, right. I forgot about the race-traitor name list. "Common English words" likely has a fair bit of overlap, yeah. I was thinking more along the lines of Raogrimm or Gumbah, neither of which can be assembled precisely from the Sea Wolf dictionary.

I can un-tempt you, then: XI is absolutely not something to be started lightly. You will never be ready. (I only started it for the EverQuest nostalgia factor. Absent that, just stay away.)

Unless your intent is for your laptop giving out to be what finally frees you, I suggest a USB backup, or maybe Dropbox.
