The adversity of big fishing is the entire point of big fishing. It is not meant to be simple and trivial precisely because there are no consequences for it being an unkind challenge - there is nothing gated behind it and no reason to do it save to chase achievements and say that you've done it. And for a certain type of player.. that's exactly what makes it appealing.

Fishing isn't some vital progressing system everyone is forced to take part in whether they like it or not. It's completely optional, mostly self contained side content designed specifically for the people who like that type of grind. The fact that you're not the target audience doesn't mean the system is broken.

Please read my OP. You have made a targeted accusation with no evidence bar your own opinion, which isnt the point of this thread and is not the 1st time youve come to a thread of mine and said this.

i still to this day am grinding fish and enjoying it, i wouldnt do it if i didnt enjoy it, and because i do it and enjoy it i CAN comment on how i think its broken, and back it up with points.
So i think i might be the target audience, but in case you still dont agree let me jus break it down;
I have an unlimited amount of time to grind
I enjoy the grind and the whole aspect of fishing
I do enjoy achievement hunting with collectables
SO by your own logic i AM a part of the target Audience and i DO think its unbalanced and broken.

so rather than shit stir with your opinions and accusations why not make a point and back it up on why you think im wrong?
