I actually don't mind store mounts and own some myself(the curse of being a mount collector >.<) but what's disappointing about this store mount and the last few is that they could've been used for content and given people more things to work towards.

For example
-Ceruleum Ballons, Magicked Parasol, Magicked Umbrella could've been craftable mounts where you need items from the Excitatron 6000 and The Shifting Gymnasion to make
-Shadow Wolf could've been the reward for completing Omega and Eden Savage as Blue Mage
-Garlond GL-IS could've been the reward for reaching rank 25 in Island Sanctuary for 100k cowries

I don't mind store mounts when they're something extra/deluxe that doesn't really fit into the game but when they feel like cut content is when it feels a bit much. Also, with less things to work towards, less people will remain subbed, which means less people to play and interact with which also sucks .__.

The new mount is terrible looking though. Mogstation can keep it. Normally I like buying the mounts but this one is shocking bad. A pass from me.

In moderation having the odd mount be cash shop only isn't the final days some make it out to be, it's always been a thing and will be for better and for worse both. I have mixed feelings on it for sure!

Just, over the last couple years it's really gotten quite shameless to the point even Bobby Kotick himself would be smiling in glee.

In a time when one of the main gripes of EW content is the lack of meaningful grinds, meaningful rewards and goals, surely SOME of what's ended up in the cash shop could have been implemented to scratch that itch.

I cant help, im annoyed over all the good stuff that gets straight to the mogstation while beast tribe and ex trial stuff gets devalued at every mogtome... Like at least get that 4-5 exclusive mounts for that... not just the mogstation...
