Personally I think that owning a couple houses is perfectly fine, owning like 30 of them is a little bit much, but ultimately it's not against TOS as long as they're not using them for RMT so what would the GMs even do?

That's what people really dont understand, it aint agaisnt the ToS, even if a multiowner woke up one day on new worlds and decided to take the entirety of the plots on 40 accounts, leaving nothing for anyone else but himself, it still wouldnt be agaisnt the ToS. The ToS rule, not some forum justice warrior that thinks he's going to save housing

Yep. I'd see that as a little selfish and scummy, but it's not against the rules, so why cry to the GMs about it?

I'd just like to express, how much it sucks to have a limited housing, which is restricting new players from obtaining a house. I started on a fresh server - and you know what? In a few weeks, majority of the plots were bought out, and some of the wards are bought out by the very SAME name (fc or player wtf)

This. Does it suck this happens? Yes. SE has some root cause they could work on to eliminate the desire for it. But if they're not breaking the ToS there's not a lot that SE can do to take official action towards them for. And they need to be careful with changes because they could rope in innocent people to a punishment who aren't doing anything to break any stated rules.

Unfortunately just about every choice made about how to handle housing has been the wrong choice. If they just did instanced housing it would be a non-issue.

Instanced housing I suspect will have the same issues that Island Sanctuary suffers from. Now for the simple minded people lurking here, I'm not against instanced housing, I just doubt its effectiveness in stopping illicit house sales, and MHO. It's pretty obvious that Square isn't taking any feedback on this issue, and if I had to speculate, I'd say their answer to these problems will likely be to add more medium/large plots to future housing zones. Will it solve any problems? Probably not.

The easiest thing that Square can do, right now, is have GM's lurking around on house selling discord servers, and websites, and start demolishing, and banning left and right. Sellers get banned, Buyers get banned, house gets demolished. As far as multi home owners go, Have fun paying for all of those accounts.
