That aside, do we know if these ilvl restrictions also include unlocking ARs outside of CT to queue for the roulette? Because if not, this change by itself isn't going to do very much.

There's nothing to indicate that unlocking other Alliance Raids will be mandatory to get access to the roulette.

Then we will waste their time.. they want us to kick them to skip the timer.. well drag them along till the final boss or near it and then vote kick..

They wanted to skip 30min wait now they have to wait 20+min in the raid and how ever long it takes to get into another roulette raid.. plus the new raid they get could be the same or worse for them lol

Even in the longer raids, someone can easily be unkickable. But keep enjoying your revenge fantasy that'll never work in practice unless the group manages to wipe on a boss.
Even beyond that, it's trivially easy to just blend into the crowd, dont use any weaponskills and just auto-attack.

As for the topic, don't get your hopes up. CT is still so insanely biased in the roulette due to several other factors that this ilvl fix is only a small bandaid on a much larger issue. You're still going to see it a predominant amount of the time that the meta for the ilvl cheesers will likely switch to just insta leaving if they get anything that isn't easy, due to the fact that they're statistically very likely to get CT on the 2nd attempt anyway and 30min lockout is basically nothing.

It literally takes less time to finish a higher alliance raid than instaleaving + 30min lockout + 15min of Crystal Tower?

You underestimate the power of the trolls.

They never unlocked Orobone, Sky Pirates, or Nier.

It will still, always, be crystal tower.



There's a few ways. Mentor roulette has code that requires you to run the dungeons to unlock it. Alliance Raid Roulette could take the same code and require that you've done the dungeons up to the ilvl as you progress or you can't que in it.

but you know if it gets me at least a few other alliance raids in a couple of weeks vs syrcus all the time, then im all for it.

Exactly, good luck trying to kick anyone in an Alliance Raid.

And yes its quite easy to AFK under the boss while auto attacking.

If I leave any roulette then I just restock my retainers, do daily crafting, tribal quests, fish, etc. while I wait for the timer. Stuff I need to do anyway.

30 lockout/crafting/markets/tribalquests + 20 LotA/queue + 5 extra queue <<< 45 Nier/queue + 30 crafting/markets/tribalquests.
