I can deal with content finder for instant raid deal, fine, I CAN DEAL with it. I can't deal with making a leveling up party with people on other worlds.... seriously?

I don't see anything wrong with it myself, just gives ppl more ways to interact with each other across servers. And also, it beats sitting in Ul'dah for no reason![]()

Ok... Then you know what you can do? Not use it. lol
Some of us don't have the luxury to play the game hours on end just to find a group. If this will make finding groups faster - I'm all for it. Good stuff devs, keep it coming.
It's an MMO, I've never took "hours" to find a group, not even in ffxi. You just have to learn how to look for people.
In ffxi I could get a party going less than an hour.
I'm calling shenanigans on that one. Those rose-tinted FFXI goggles are pretty awesome.
To person above - Phantasy Star Online is actually fun though... so if it ends up like it - cool. Deal with it.![]()
you may not experience that, but some people do. its better to give options than wasting time looking for party member which may not available currently on your world
Aion Zwei - Masamune
It most definitely took more than an hour depending on what you were doing, and when you were playing the game. IE promathia missions after ToAU took forever unless you chanced on other people willing/able/needing to do it. I remember setting up many parties just to disband at 4/6 because people had to go to sleep.
If we're talking about experience parties, that's a blatant lie. It took days to find a group in FFXI sometimes... Unless you joined FFXI post ToAU you should know that. LOLDRG & LOLDRK barely got PT invites before ToAU, and just because you had 6 people who could party didn't mean you could make a party... Mandies in Khazam aren't possible without a healer...
ever wait 45+ minutes at 5/6 members just waiting for 1 person with the right job?
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
"Could" being the operative word. Sometimes people just aren't available or there just aren't the right combinations of jobs. I'm sure just about everyone (who played FFXI) has a horror story of waiting for hours in the dunes while they were repeatedly passed over while the WHMs were practically jacked upon zoning in.
What of those poor 2005 DRGs?
Or BLMs during ToAU?
Or PUPs...since they were released? (ba-dum psh)
If you personally never, ever had to wait over an hour, then you are EXTREMELY fortunate, if not ungodly lucky.
EDIT: Almost forgot the whole point of my post... -.-;
Sometimes, there just aren't the right people available in your community, and being able to reach into another community to supplement is a great option.
A good hypothetical example is that you're 6/8 for a party and you want two healers. You can shout forever in Ul'dah and not get a single reply, but you also have the option to pull from another community for healers which gives you a greater chance of actually finding one in a reasonable time period.

If it doesn't affect me in a negative way then it should not be touched, If I dont like it then it should be changed regardless of who does like it.
