They probably should wait until they get the other platforms versions out for 16 before they do a crossover... I imagine most people don't want too much exposure to the story before they can play it without buying a PS5 for just one game.

Did the PC version of FFXV come out before the FFXVxFFXIV crossover collab? I don't remember.

I'd also petition if this happened to have the WoL that appears in FFXVI not be Derplander and instead use a different race. Run a poll on Lodestone or something beforehand or go off of the census data for race/gender combos. Having a WoL appear that isn't just another 100% human would add more gravity to the aspect of being from a different world.

Probably not a question of if but when we get a crossover.

We got a hint this past weekend that the "when" may be some time during 6.x.

My guess is Apr as a precursor to a 2 month Moogle tomestone event leading into 7.0 launch.
