Your points are fair and I respect your opinion. In fact, dare I say it? I think I even agree. Something more orchestral probably would have had a deeper impact. I for sure did feel like, 'ugh its just gonna be more aimless fan service filler' and not much else. The other trailers had a strong sense of hype for whats to come next. Challenges. Crazy things happening. This one for sure felt more like it relied on people drooling and going, OMG YSHOTLAAAAAAA YASSS QUEEEN OMG GRAAHHAAA TACOOOO UWUU!!! kind of like little kids going to disneyland and going OMMGG MICKKEYYYY!!!! Yeah, I agree. Kinda characters before story which is boring because I dont care about the characters, I'm not here for them. They're background noise as far as I'm concerned. Annoying determined background noise that for some reason keep popping up front and center on my screen talking about their day as if theyre a youtube vlogger. But anyway, surely the full trailer will be a lot better. Right?????

To busy getting Drunk on the Forum, probly missed that all of those Bunnies and G'raha Eating a burger happened in 1 expansion, and not the whole Decade Long Plot.

Probably Soken messing around changing the sound of his voice as he usually does on the teaser music. They may not have decided on a final vocalist for the song yet.

This is always the issue of scaling player power back down after fighting a universe ending threat

I actually like the song and trailer. They felt fun and fresh, especially after Endwalker and it's post game story are trying so hard to be and/or surpass Shadowbringer in grandeur and metaphysical stakes. (◍´͈ꈊ`͈◍)
I honestly don't think an orchestral song would have really added anything and may even have taken the trailer to a more "generic fantasy" place.
