Is Sega the Air Nomads of the original series?
I am leaving FFXIV because they refuse to put this on the NES how dare they!

You are kinda comparing apples to oranges here. The other MMOs you listed have communities that are probably an order of magnitude smaller than that of XIV. That's a big factor. Small communities where everyone knows everyone tend to be friendlier in general because nobody wants to be known as a jerk. You might not have played many MMOs if you believe FF14 has the nicest community. At the very minimum, LOTRO is far, far nicer (and more intelligent) than this one. Neverwinter isn't too shabby on Xbox (not played on PC), and SW:TOR is more upbeat in general chat, although there are a few twats (but nowhere near as much as FF14).
The FF14 community is only happy if you are positive about the game. As soon as you say something negative, you get attacked, gaslighted, blocked, called a liar, etc.
I will say that my experience in all three of them was very different when I tried, though. Neverwinter and LOTRO seemed dead and SWTOR's chat was full of people crying about how going f2p has ruined everything by allowing plebs into their game.

Why is this not on Atari?

Can we run Doom on FFXIV?
Who am I kidding, there's probably a mod for it already.

I will say that it is important to remember that XIV did get its reputation for being friendly when it was much smaller than it is now. I will also point out that WoW, a game which has become known for having a cesspool of a community, did not start out that way. It's been so long since WoW had a generally friendly community though that most have forgotten. You are kinda comparing apples to oranges here. Its even in the logo. Which one attacked, though???
On another note, I'm actually kind of annoyed Xbox One support is *not* being offered. Its the same gen as PS4 and many people have one who don't have an x or s, including a friend of mine who's kinda been waiting for 14 to finally come to xbox since Heavensward.

14 also just doesn't have a bad community. LOTRO, even when it had a lot of people, had a very nice community, but it also whined with the best of them. About runekeepers existing, or a small part of the epic storyline not being canon-friendly, or whether beornings should be allowed to be a playable race, or what have you; and then people would get tired of the constant annoyance and get annoyed back. Its very similar to us actually, but they had a lot fewer people on the official forum so dedicated to constantly droning on about the same issues in every thread they posted in, regardless of topic. And they had mods. And those things probably correlate.I will say that it is important to remember that XIV did get its reputation for being friendly when it was much smaller than it is now. IDK if Xbox users "don't buy games." They certainly don't buy FF games at the rate PlayStation users do, which was the original point. Not sure what your point was though. Even the Windows edition of FFXV outsold the Xbox One version despite releasing two years later. Xbox sales are mostly nonexistent outside the US, especially in Japan (on top of Japan's supposedly dwindling console sales in general). Why do people keep making stuff up?
20% of all copies of Final Fantasy XV sold on Xbox. That's not bad considering the player base of Xbox One was smaller AND wasn't the traditional format for Final Fantasy.
It isn't a negligible amount. It is a few million copies (plus, more got into the game through Game Pass a couple of years later, and we know being on GP increases game sales)
Final Fantasy XIII sales on the Xbox 360 weren't even that far behind PS3. By the end of the first year, Xbox 360 had sold about 50% of the copies of Playstation 3 which, again, isn't bad considering Xbox 360 was receiving a game it wasn't traditionally known for.
Some weird crap been thrown around about Xbox recently, most of it lies i.e. 'Xbox players don't buy games' (truth: games sell more frequently once added to Game Pass, and all developers report they make more cash from GP than not being on GP)
Also, as a note, Xbox One onwards is now the best place to play Final Fantasy XIII and beyond. Microsoft worked with Square Enix to make all the cutscenes full 4K, and vastly upscaled the rest of the game. Square Enix wouldn't have done that if the 'sales were negligible'.
I don't know the sale for FFXI, though. I assume 360 did outsell PS2 here? But, that is because the HDD was not released in Europe, so the only way to play FFXI on console in Europe (short of importing an NTSC one) was to play on 360.
