Problem with healers in VC dungeons is the same as anything else.
1 button spam is freaking boring.
It's strong but it's clunky. Has to do twice the button presses as Sage for the same results due to Sage's abilities having 2 in 1 capability (heal + utility)

Except SGE doesn’t have SCH’s utility, larger shields, totem healing, combat spring and a damage buff go a long way
Agree it’s clunky though
Well people complain on content not hard enough so why not make sage shields be weaker to make it feel even if its just 5% harder, Idk am never in a situation where healing is a problem overall on any healer. I am not sure what you mean about the term totem healing/Judy. Physis 2 kerachole and ixochole/holo is all sage need to easily top up a party. Even pneuma imo even though its good I barely have any reason to use it unless I feel bored and wanna press another button.
Other than bigger shields and chain strat , that dont make sch any more better than the 3 healers, they all can heal equally fine and sch 5% difference compared to the other healers is not even that serious, and at the end of the day its still the less played healer. You know if sage shields was on par with sch or zoe was change to make sure e dig was crit and pepis let you spread E diag, then no one would touch sch? I am quite sure that is the reason for the weaker shields especially because sage has instant shield where as sch has to precast.

Totem healing is the fact that SCH can cast heals from the fairy’s location, it’s very important during savage because when the party spreads out you can leave the fairy in the centre, meanwhile everything SGE has casts from itself, so you can easily miss people, this is a weakness of say kerachole while soil can be placed anywhere, meanwhile soil has to be stood in while kerachole is a buffWell people complain on content not hard enough so why not make sage shields be weaker to make it feel even if its just 5% harder, Idk am never in a situation where healing is a problem overall on any healer. Any discussion I make about balance of the healers is basically exclusively savage focused, a cure 1 spammer can clear expert content so balance discussion on that front is pointless, in savage a powerful buff (chain), combat sprint, totem healing and the larger shields go a long way, SCH being less played doesn’t change its balance, besides 3.0 and like half of 5.1 AST has always been stronger than WHM but WHM is still far more played than it
And if any of those changes were made that would just make it more like SCH, you are basically saying SCH’s skills are better but it’s more clunky, which I’ve already agreed with you on
SGE’s shields were already known to be weaker because they are instacast, that’s an advantage of SGE, It’s more mobile than SCH, I’m not trying to downplay SGE, I main both shield healers, SCH just pulls ahead on quite a few fronts in savage
