Don't forget about 6.1 plugin drama, since then, we're getting some decent QoL every patch.

SE is just like a frog. Throw them in boiling water, and they realize what's wrong. Put them in cold water, light the stove, and they'll eventually get cooked in it.

This. Things have to go up in flames for them to realize that something is wrong. Something just being soaked in gasoline isn't a big enough warning sign for them.

Seems to be a pattern here where SE will listen to the ramblings of JP for even small things but throws most NA and EU feedback directly in the trash.
Connection and ping issues have been brought up to yoshi-p and devs how many times at this point? and they still haven't done what plugins like xiv alexander already easily fix.

Bit ironic how several of those plug-ins were deemed too difficult or time consuming to implement... until they were widely shown on Twitch. Suddenly, we've been getting long requested QoL after patch.

So outside of the dubious nature of the poster and I'm sorry if I've misjudged but I'm sure your another titan/elderbro/chris alt judging by join date and that notorious character design. But there is some truth here in some capacity they are known to focus on the feedback generated from their JP playerbase heck I remember when 7 remake was coming out they asked people making videos to put in Japanese captions if possible because otherwise they would never get round to watching it.

However in the feedback they don't listen to section... job design, encounter incentives and content variety etc is subjective to the individual...on top of that massive change won't happen till an expansion release due to for better or worse their restrictive content schedule. Character customisation I believe isn't being touched on till 7.0 due to the graphics update...why bother making changes when you can bring that in to when you update the visuals...if they don't however then by all means I will stand with you and anyone affected asking them to act on the feedback but yeah...not sure really.

bro i can GUARANTEE you RIGHT NOW the character customization update will not fix the issues with hrothgar and viera headgear/hairstyle
