FFXIV is not alt friendly, in any way shape or form. Store items are (usually) one per character. Progress is per character. Unlocks are per character. Achievements are per character. If I want to alt up, I lose everything I have achieved, from my main. It's a real disincentive to try out different worlds, different DCs. I don't want to unlock everything again. Above anything else in the game, it's the one thing I wish they would change. Even if its not mog-store stuff. If I have unlocked it in game, let me have it on any character, tied to that service account.

I feel the same way. I have so much Gil, gear, materia, and minions...it would be great if I could send those items to my Alt. Save on time & money. Especially if all I'm going to do is either sell it or discard it.

Especially when they have to sell Fantasias.

This really urks me. I have different characters that I would like to switch between when playing, but I constantly forget what each one does/doesn't have unlocked, so I've just stopped using all but one of them. Having absolutely everything being tied to individual characters really hampers your ability to play multiple characters. And before anyone says it, I know, one character can play every job, but I like having different characters of different races with lore-accurate names. I'm not going to fantasia my lalafell, Chuchunni Chunni, into a roegadyn.
