Pause and Think before Shouting

Random shouts is common place in all MMOs, I have had loads of help on STO using zone chat (shout) and people don't care about conversations in zone chat on there, I really don't get why its such a big deal, people making parties shout atleast once a min, and if you see one fly past just wait 1 min, or scroll up the chatlog to see what was said.

I hate to generalize but a large portion of the FF fanbase can be pretty snobby. They can be likened to people who turn up their noses at common action flicks and movies like Porky's and Freddy Got Fingered. This is how we end up with the whole "I can't be bothered by the /sh you n00bs! I'm over here smelling my own farts."

I myself am kind of snooty about RPGs because I base everything against Chronotrigger and FFII/IV and FFIII/VI but that's about the extent of that.

For the record, I turn my nose up at those two particular movies cuz I think they're terrible movies, not because I'm snobbish. "I love this thing cuz its so awful that no one loves it!" is not imo a valid reason to avoid nose-turn-upping to said awful thing. I think the bigger issue with players is -i'm not helping you if there is nothing in it for me-.
