Nope. It doesn't "just kinda happens".

It's because a core group of players - or rather, a certain faction, you included - has taken it upon themselves to derail threads to "have fun" at others' expense.

There is only one solution.

any forum with just one view, complaining or praise is going to be generally pointless for feedback or anything else. without dissenting viewpoints for whatever the status quo is, its not a "forum" its an echo chamber. those are not useful for anything

They are posting more frequently cause they found that if they can get you to say a bad word or anything they can mass report you with all the alts and get a ban. It's a numbers game. If you break the ToS once they will do exactly that. The Automated modding does NOT take context into account. Also they will comb through older postings to see if you have used a bad word once and then mass report that. We have proff of that with emails of the ban being issued from something that happened weeks or longer ago.

The best way to deal with these people is block. Immediately. Do no engage. They WANT the engagement and they are getting it left and right.

I think you're a cool person and you seem level headed so I don't see you getting baited into a ban trap but I just think you are above this all and don't need to talk to this wall of a person who will not change.
