Call me pessimistic but I feel if the players were to decide, it'd be heavily inclined to feminine and cutesy styles, but if it was up to the devs, they'd go for androgynous bobs and bowl cuts to cut corners.

Meanwhile, those of us who want more short/masculine styles...





The icing of the cake is the last hairstyle literally proves people will go nuts over a hairstyle that's clearly "not for them" even after getting 7 consecutive ponytails and braids, but when someone playing a Roe, Hroth or Highlander speaks out about getting tired of getting cutesy cuts, they're told to shove it ...yay double standards!

Oh absolutely. The short cropped hair is very nice on Roes/Highlanders/Lala (i've also seen some Felezen look really cool with it), but looks absolutely garbage on the popular races so therefore... bad hairstyle and we should never get anything but a ponytail or long hair again! /s

And I mean... if I only had the choice between more femme hairstyles and androgynous... I would choose androgynous. So, I still vote for devs picking the winners. :')

The in game events and items do seem a little lack luster here, a moogle treasure event like we get before every patch release, and the rising which we get every year anyway. Maybe the rewards for these events will be really spectacular but they are still the same events we get all the time, unless they really ramp up the rising event to be something really incredible this time.

The Rising event could be really good. Best one so far is when we got to "visit" their in-game offices. The posters in the walls were insanely high res. That event and FanFest are what I'm most excited about. Other than that, I'm legit bummed that they're not selling tickets for a stream for the Primals concert. I don't understand why skipping a stream at all.

If it's like the last time we had a "special event" moogle trove, it was different to the usual end-of-patch progression with its rewards and a bit more generous with some sought-after emotes and hairstyles.

Correct me if I'm off my rocker here, but isn't that the one they usually do a month out or so from expansion release? As in, did they just stealth announce that it won't be coming out until about a year from now?

My favorite one mostly the visiting devs room and the chaotic FATE instance. Really missed them both and I hope they bring it back...

Honestly the moogle event like past one that gives Inferno Jacket is kinda... bad. Because you had to spend those tomes immediately or else it goes obsolete immediately, unlike our regular moogle event.

What does it matter, though? There's no value in hoarding them. Earn the tomes and buy what you want immediately.
