That's actually an Aesop fable which has its moral explicitly stated to be, "Liars are rewarded with never being believed, even when they bring the truth.
Greek, actually, the mythology around Cassandra, who was granted the power of seeing the future, yet was fated to never be believed. Or the Italian phrase, “traduttore, traditore”, which accurately describes the mindset we see here so often.

"Tell them the truth, tell them a lie, it doesnt matter, they wont believe you anyway"

Cant argue or change a closed mind.

The Aesop fable they were referencing was the boy crying wolf, and traduttore, traditore has nothing to do with anything, it's about literal translations vs localizations that preserve the spirit of the original source

I kinda envy those who've experienced it to be honest. I don't own a PS5 and don't intend to buy one as my savings are going toward a new PC. I may well play it when it when a PC version appears, but the timeframe for that seems unclear.

However, I have friends who play it and have had nothing but praise for it. And I have at least experienced the music - 'Find the Flame' absolutely blew me away to be honest!

What I've heard about it is that it's basically a cinematic experience with some slightly above average, easy combat in between. I've also heard the cinematic experience is absolutely worth every €.

I don't own a PS5 so I'll wait for a PC release and then we'll see. I'd hate to get left with the feeling that I might as well have saved the money and watched it on Youtube.

Yeah I can't wait for the next expansion to be 20% gameplay, 80% unnecessary boring cutscenes.

I'm sure someone has done a no commentary play of it. I'll probably watch it myself here soon.

When you deal with human beings, never count on logic or consistency.

Fluid like water. Smooth like silk. Pepperoni like pizza.
