To respond to your edit: It doesn't entirely matter, really. Again, how people respond to the poster is pretty much in accordance with how the OP has been. - If he wants to be taken serious by every poster then perhaps they should elect to do so in kind, and not just when convenient to do so.

The demolition thing is probly the most scummy thing i can think of with ff14, i hate that they tell us to take breaks but if you have a house, you better not if you want to keep it

The auto demo isnt whats scummy. Its a necessary evil in order to have some new plots available in a limited market for those who stopped caring for their continued house usage.

If it didnt exist, then there be no new available plots.

Its more of a stubborn decision to keep the housing value in premium rather than build a permanent solution with instanced housing, although they seem slowly start to rectify this with IS and I hope this is the case in more future updates

With all due respect, you like many others on the forum seem to be quick to rush the bandwagon when it is done on a topic that you're personally interested in, equally, it has not stopped you from doing the self-same thing that Kaynide has done - Provided that it is not in your direction. There's some irony in that. It has equally not stopped you from trying to misconstrue other people's arguments for your own attempted gain. - Do it all you wish, just don't complain about it when someone elects to return those receipts.

Again, there's a very simple notion that is being followed here - The first is reaping what you sow - The second is treating people how you wish to be treated. It's really that simple. Why are people not going to do it? - In a couple of hours OP is probably going to come to this thread, or another thread and proceed to do what he usually does - What he has earned the reputation of doing at this point.

with that said as was said earlier, I'll take prestige housing over welfare housing for everybody, it ruins the entire point and having a large will become like having an apartment

Part of me wonders if the devs wouldn't like to have instanced housing at this point, but the c-suite types are saying "woah there, we get a lot of perma subs due to housing, let's not stop that gravy train just yet." Idk, maybe the devs are still holding on to this (imo) silly idea of a community feeling ,despite entire wards being owned by single individuals, and 90% of players never having any contact with the neighbours.

What are you talking about? Tell me how can you make more houses available to purchase without resorting to adding more limited wards? You cant just patch more land to accommodate every single player, its just not realistically possible.

Adding more wards or "adaptable" ward is a solution though, basically self-create wards up to a certain point that would be limited by SE depending on world and population. For Balmung for example and I am saying this as an example, it would go up to 38, while on Japan since they are a lot less populated it would go to 32. As I said it's just an example but you get the point, I think that's an idea

I would disagree with saying that it is entirely bad faith as there are some merits to the discussion, honestly.
