Make it Rain being late in 2020 and 2021 was probably due to the contagion of unknown origin that must not be named, so it's definitely supposed to be early June, which does indeed make it a bit late this time.
idk why but I thought we'd get the summer event at Costa before mir tbh.
I do need more mgp tho so whatever but still.
I think whatever bonus item will probably just be a gposebait item which isn't a bad thing but nothing worth getting hype over.
I kinda wish the Realm Reborn Red was just a regular emote
Seems like a standard Make It Rain quest reward to me. It's never been all that much. As others have said, the +50% MGP is the real event reward.
Moonfire Faire and The Rising are the events that usually run one after the other. It could be the year that MIR ran very late causing the confusion.
you're in luck, OP! the Make It Rain campaign starts next Friday!
here's the page for the event if you want to read it:

Honestly this years event is horrible. Could of at least added to the make it rain emote pool or something. :L
You say that like we're not getting anything. We only ever get one "something" per event from Make It Rain, and a minion is equal to an emote – and of a reasonably popular character, besides.
In 2018 we didn't get anything permanent except I think a title. The home games were featured but you had to buy them. That was also the last time we saw the golden sparkler. Someone expecting to get the same thing each time hasn't been paying attention.![]()

Okay, zero things or one thing, then. Still, getting one thing this time doesn't make it "horrible" based on the rewards when we haven't gotten to the event itself yet. It's a minor event with a freebie and that's all I'm ever going to expect from it.
Whoa Nelly, I was agreeing with you.
