I get it the rpg's in general have cutscenes but when a majority of your game is literally movie and not much gameplay then you basically paid $70 for a CGI movie then a gameI mean...people still rage on about how masterful Heavensward and Shadowbringers when its story and gameplay has always been like from the beginning. I cant ever trust people's praise and hate over a title when everyone who has never played numerous rpgs as I have, dont have a lick of sense what they're going on about.
That sounds egotistical because it is, but its also me using my experience with many games to judge how others play out. Thankfully this means I'm more lenient to certain "flaws" people have when in reality its usually fair standard with the genre or not as bad as it seems if this one game is one of your few entry windows to the genre.
Like people complaining about cutscenes in rpgs for example. Like bruh, thats literally a majority of the appeal of the genre. You WANT to get immersed in the narrative they're trying to tell.
