Could dynmais worlds get a forum sub for each world, just asking while I have a moment because I'm considering making my own GC for like minded people

It's Dynamis. Mais is the german word for corn and tho i would like us being fueled by the power of corn it's sadly just the power of friendship and plotarmor.

Jokes aside i really don't understand what you mean, the forums already have sub categories for each world and what does that have to do with Grand Companies?

Shame it took them over 6 months after the worlds were opened before they could get around to adding the subforums. We had wanted them back in November to help with organizing and getting word out about the various communities (hunts, raid recruitment, Eureka/Bozja clears, etc.) that were getting set up for Dynamis. I think most ended up relying on Discord word of mouth.

People are seriously using the forums to organize stuff? I thought they were just relics of a era long gone by.

Not so much to do the organizing but to promote that it's being done and help players get connected. The Dynamis data center Discord got a boost from being mentioned here (in addition to other places) before the data center even opened but you had to be lucky enough to catch a thread that mentioned it before it got buried by the troll threads.

Even if the regular posters here are few in number, there are a lot of lurkers who do check the official forums for information. Being able to put information into a more specific subforum makes it easier to find.

Look at Island Sanctuary. Threads about it are scattered all over the subforums because SE didn't bother to add one for it. Many players might be going to whatever the current Discord is for information but there's nothing to say that they won't wake up one day to find that one vanished same as the original IS Discord did. There's also the current Reddit mess to look at - how many players felt lost without the reddit to go to for information during the boycott?

At least the official forums are unlikely to disappear before SE quits running the game. It's just a shame that the forums are so badly managed. Better moderation is not the only thing the forums need.

OP I strongly recommend the Dynamis discord server for what you are looking for. Its pretty great in my experience.
