I duno, the player they have right now is what 10k strong, the player base they had an launch was 600k ?

Personally if I was SE I would be trying to appeal to that 600k + PS3 users and not the 10k that's left.

The way I see it those 590k are not so different from the 10k that are still playing. The only difference is that the 10k are trying to show support and hoping SE will listen. I'm sure 90% of that 600k will agree on many of the same things.

Its just like someone else said already, the only people who are going to be attracted to XIV are the same people who were attracted to XI. Hell the only people attracted to FF are people who have played the FF series. 90% of the people I have met on WoW never even touched a FF game in their life!
