    No, I'm from Brazil. I used to play FFXIV when I had an another internet provider, but the connection was worse. So I recently changed to a better connection from another provider. But sadly FF XIV is the only game I've faced this issue. Also sad because it's the game I play the most ;-;

    Oh yeah, a VPN will most definitely help you in that case. Before you try that you can also try to turn off your antivirus software for the duration of the download and see if that helps.

    What also could help most likely is just changing the DNS, for example to 8.8.8.8 which is googles public DNS.
