What jobs are people generally hoping for now?

For future expansions. Just a curiosity thing for me. And I mostly mean jobs that multiple people have voiced interest in over social media/in game. Of course, I'm also interested to hear YOUR own personal wants as well, I'm genuinely curious what people are hoping for in the future of this game. (nb4 "I hope for no more new jobs" which is a reasonable want but doesn't add much to this)

Off the top of my head I know of

Chemist
Hunter/Sniper/Ranger
Necromancer
Beastmaster
Geomancer
Corsair

Given that didn't SE say future jobs would most likely be new ideas instead of pulling from previous iterations, I'm doubly curious what we'll get moving forward.

EDIT: Yes I know several people would prefer to not have new jobs added and instead have the current ones fixed, this topic is purely looking into what new jobs/concepts people are interested in. Whether or not new jobs should be added is neither here nor there.

Some sort of non-tank melee dps that wields a sword (rune fencer or something, idk, could be a mage too)



3 of the 4 sword wielding jobs are tanks, with Sam being the only dps. Ninja uses knives.



I'm thinking 1 handed sword, no shield. Or could dual-wield swords like the sword singer from lineage 2. That was a fun class.

Blitz Baller. Mr. Happy pointed out a couple months ago how in Endwalker Hildebrand side quests, our WoL performs a specific kicking animation in midair that heavily resembled FFX's Tidus/Jecht's signature blitz ball technique.

Spellblade (could have two swords to differentiate it from SAM)

Chemist is one I'd like to see. I think a ways back one made a good point to use like the Ninja Mudra mechanic but it's Mix and you can make different buffs/debuffs/heals/damage abilities.

Same here, dude! Especially if the fighting style doesn't involve a sword of some kind. Just mix Wakka and Jecht/Tidus' blitzball fighting styles together and it would make the perfect Blitz Baller Job class.

What other way would you kill a god? xD Or kicking a massive junk of meteor in their face like how Jecht does in the old Dissidia FF games!

What is RDM, chopped liver? :P

Actually super interested in a spear/shield tank (valkyrie?) and spellblade concepts, and healer necromancer (there's such a concept in D&D actually, it's pretty neat).

A Centurion? Name theories aside...yeah a spear/shield combo would be nice. I am a fan of Polearms.
