Oh looks its Renalt and his friends again derailing a thread while crying about the lack of moderation.

Funny how you say it was Renalt and friends(if you want to lump me in with them, go ahead, I would probably get along better with them than half the other people on the forums) who derailed this thread....but that happened a LOT farther back, and not by the people you claim it was done by either..like page 8 where it seems to have started to really derail. Prior to that, 80-90% still on topic.

that I would disagree with. there are others, well known entities who spend their every moment on the forums basically turning the forum rules into pretzels for their own twisted amusement (thread necros, topics intended to cause drama etc) that would be higher on the list

pretty sure them and their many alts would be higher, but thats just an opinion. not defending them, just saying I would hope there would be bigger fish that get fried first

Yeah, leaving all biases aside, Id first target the people who make threads solely for inciting fights between people here, so anything about sexuality, religion and so on together with insults, people can’t possibly see a derailment as the worst thing going on here do they?…..

A lot of forums in general have a no-politics rule. That would have been a good addition to this place.

Some of my closest friends in ESO were people I was on the opposite end of the political spectrum (well...maybe not opposite as I consider myself a centrist), which I knew because even with a no-politics rule little things come out here and there. But most of the time without other relationships and among strangers, it just leads to divisiveness or worse. I really prefer not knowing and just enjoying each other's company over a shared interest in XIV.

I agree, but that would also require the rule to be enforced. Rules don't matter if there's no penalty for breaking them.

Politics is against the forum's ToS so is the use of foul language. The only time it's allowed is when you're talking about the stuff that's in game.

Would be nice if it was actually enforced.
