I am here to support this thread and shamelessly bump it each time! I really wish they would have added at least something nice this patch. We are not even going to get a new hairstyle with Icehearts outfit.....and the outfit is just a copy of some of the beginner gear lol.

some of the male viera hairstyles would look amazing on female bunnies (and would look great on other races as well)
I really like the FViera sideswoop hair & would love it on my miqo'te (and other races) It has the volume and thickness I like about hairstyles

Not peach fuzz beards. I know it's not a big thing in Japan, but I want a big full beard. Also, more masculine hairstyles.

While it is indeed existing gear, the outfit is at least going to give us access to some currently role-locked pieces – and it will be a bit of a two-for-one on character cosplay gear since Mide from the Alexander questline also wears those mage gloves and boots as a MCH, so can't currently be copied. (They still won't be the right colour though.)

Plus the gloves are just nice gloves in general and it appears that the outfit won't be gender-locked. If it comes at the cheaper price point like the old Scion gear, I'm sure I can find some uses for it as fancy DoW gear.

I wonder whether the skirt will still get pants added underneath for the male version? I haven't seen any leaked pictures of it, but the icon suggests possibly not.

Alright gang in 6.45 Mt. Rokkan is available as the newest variant dungeon.
Mt Rokkan is situated in Doma and as such will likely be important to Doman royalty so I think they finally have no excuse to not make Hiens hair available as a Modern Aesthetic.
Its been 6 years since stormblood dropt, they've had plenty plenty PLENTY of time to make it work on all male characters (if lyses hair is genderlocked why wouldnt hiens when his gearset is locked?) I think it should either be a random drop a la some furniture in Sildih or an X Many Item trade-in reward.

yes that is a character creation base hair. The version on miqo and auri has more hair added on the sides as opposed to the buzzcut to avoid the horrors of humanoid faces not having ears on the sides of their heads. Aura also dont have a Bald option presumably for this reason.
If/When they get it viera will probably adopt the miqo/auri style while hrothgar could go either way.
