Early bid is best only when there's close to no competition and you're attempting to discourage others from bidding on the same plot. Others don't want to compete with you if they have other options.

When I placed 3 bids on my fc plot in an fc-only ward, other mansions in fc/unrestricted wards had 0-2 bids and fcs would pick those to focus on. Slowly they started getting more bids, and towards the end more private buyers would add their bids in the unrestricted wards. I think me being early helped that time, but only because it was a new ward release with plenty of plots to choose from.

Yeah, there is a large house avalible in Shirogane on Mateus i really want to try for. But ive sadly lost so many now, i'm worried to even try. :/ that's why i asked when it's the best time to bid.

16 bids for a goblet, 9 one of the worst goblet... you would have been better off staying on Balmung with that small mist plot that you had (if i remember correctly ?), it was far superior than what you will get on Mateus, I truly think you did a big mistake, you went from an overpopulated server to another which is absolutely pointless.

I’d consider how many of each size are available this round and how popular they are… on Bryn, mediums have been having higher bid counts than the larges lately. But then again there’s less larges than mediums in general, so expect high bid counts either way.

You know my usual advice… might as well go for what you want, because someone is gonna win it! lol With mediums and larges, they’re few and far between, and you may be waiting awhile for another chance. So if one is up you really want, might as well try. But if they’re not what you really want and you just want a place to decorate while you wait for something better to come up, go with a small.
