That could be a thing but there is one problem with it. That "Ring"

Ring has ability to teleport you to where your partner at. If you do cross World/DC marriage, then that ring will not work and that would take away that benefit plus you can save gil from the teleport.

It works if you and your partner are currently on the same server at the same time. That's how it works when a partner transfers to another server from their partner. The rings do still work, you just have to be on the same server actively.

I did not know that, I think it could work in theory. The rings will work when the couple is together when they are separate then it will not work. I can go for that!
