With all jobs at 90 I have very little use for poetics. My wish is that I could choose what my alternate currency is (Because I would choose the rank 2 tomes (Causality right now) over the rank 3 poetics every time)
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
Thing is, both Causality and Comedy are essentially endgame currencies right now, Causality are used for the current Relics as well as current crafting materials or materia. This is why they rotate them out of use and everything winds up being Poetics once it's 'dead' content. I doubt they would want to mess with the 'economy' of these two tomestones.
They don't want people getting an absolute flood of the uncapped endgame tomes lest it completely invalidate the currency. If they were to even entertain the idea, it'd have to be at a pretty steep conversion rate because everything all but barfs Poetics at you.
"Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters."
"The silence is your answer."
yeah I was thinking about that when I made that statement. It has to be something minuscule rate like 500 poetics = 50 casuality/10 comedy, dont know if thats gamebreaking already but having a viable option for poetic usage for endgame prog would still be nice imo
