    If it's not intended to be a megathread why are you trying to redirect people from this thread to that one? More threads on this topic improves visibility of the issue, I didn't even know there -was- another thread about this. Let it ride.

    My point was that it wasn't intended, but it turned into one. It has by far the most views/posts regarding this topic on the whole forum.
    I also never said to prioritize one thread over the other. In fact, the more active threads about how needless glamour restrictions are, the better.

    Time and time again SE has said to use the Like button and post in one topic re an issue so they can accurately see how popular something may be.
    Having multiple topics open for the same point is harming visibility to the community reps, not improving it.
