Crystal tower isn't hard or even a challenge, you can do it blind folded due to the lack of sync as well as several other trials.

Lack of a first time bonus doesn’t mean a person isn’t new. Could be their second or third run. People could be leveling a job under level 60. There’s still plenty of reason CT pops more than most

If people ilvl cheesing is as prevalent as you believe, that suggests people want easier or shorter runs. Not longer ones that drag on due to hp sponges getting hit by garbage dps.

By the sounds of it, these people should play WoW instead where people would vote kick you from normal dungeons if you didn't have the latest patch gear to cut the run down by an extra minute. God forbid if you wiped, that would be it and everyone would leave.

This has been discussed many times that it’s beating a dead horse. There’s more than ilvl cheese causing these to pop up more than the others.
3. It only takes 1 low level doing the mandatory unlock to get CT to pop

Case in point, I'm building an actual alt, still in 2.X content, and CT is mandatory to get to 3.0 eventually. I did the first one, popped in 5 min, 10 PM Central. Did the second one, probably near 11 PM Central, as a roulette, now that I have Allied Raid Roulette. Popped in 5 min. Did some other stuff, watched cutscenes (last time I did those was about 2018...), and queued for the 3rd piece about midnight. Popped in 5 min. CT done.

Beat Aglaia the other day. The Final boss didn't even get the chance to use his Limit Break because he died just before it.

That's really sad. It's the coolest part of the fight. Admittedly, failing the "balance" section shouldn't be an instant wipe for the party, but the entire sequence is otherwise awesome and seeing it become commonplace to skip it is going to be very disappointing. People are only getting stronger and stronger, and we're only three weeks into 6.4.

With average of 640 gear, the Endsinger normal defeated after Alphinaud speaks lol... Probably with 660 gear it defeated before the cutscene...

I agree that there should be some measure of balancing that ensures those big story moment trials stay close to their original difficulty. As much as I've enjoyed my time going through the MSQ there's been a few times that I would have liked the battle to be a little longer and more impactful. I did the final endwalker trial when it we were in 6.2 and I was lucky I got to experience the whole thing, it was great, I wouldn't want newer people to skip out on the later bit of the fight.

The reworked Ultima weapon should be the minimum baseline for all the big Story bosses. There's nothing wrong in imposing serious ilvl limits, if people end up struggling just have the echo they gain ramp up even further to compensate so they are almost certain to clear eventually after decent series of wipes.
