Stuff we have lost each expansion since shadowbringers

The resources are clearing going into FF16 (and likely other random gacha/NFT projects)

I personally really enjoyed the criterion dungeon but in it's current form it's very much a 1 and done. For all it's flaws, Bozja offered far more engagement for far longer IMO.

• Obviously!! My resource management...
• My Tenka Goken became a stupid circle hate it...
• Every boss hitbox is freakishly massive now ( do not say that's what she said... )
• I lost the joy of needing to fight for uptime
• Lost whatever the meta was before the 2 min stuff...
• Losing faith in Square as a company

Some other stuff probably here and there... like Sanity... and Kaiten ( obviously )

People have asked for years for extreme difficulty dungeons or other more 4 man content.
And now that we're getting it, other people, maybe even some of those same people, are saying it was a worthless inclusion.

The problem is that IMHO the dungeon was significantly tougher than the typical extreme fight whilst also being less worthwhile to run.

I really enjoyed running and learning it blind on launch, but once we caught wind of the rewards, half the team almost instantly lost interest.

As of writing this as well. There is no signs of an 8th trial for this expansion. Stormblood we had Gilgamesh and rathalos. Shadowbringers we had Varis. endwalker we have umm nothing so far.

Fairly certain the special challenge fight that they revealed during the last LL that is going to debut at fanfest will ultimately become the 8th trial
i'm just not certain whether it'll be part of hildibrand's quests (she's greg's relative/spouse?) or actually part of the manderville weapon quests

This. I did them, and enjoyed them but there's no longevity behind it. You can't find a group for it(trust me, I've tried, you have to go in on your own), and it's likely because they refuse to give it any form of worthwhile rewards.

Honestly just make Criterion Savage drop loot that allows you to augment Savage/aug tome gear, unlocking a third materia slot. This would make a lot more people do it even though it's like a 1% DPS gain at best.
